MY COMPLETE BABY REGISTRY
I feel I have been doing baby registries for the last 5 years. On the Twins registry, I went crazy and bought so many things that weren't worth it and some that were amazing. My second time around I didn't buy much since I had Jack 20 months apart from the Twins and everything was in great condition.
This time I am almost starting from scratch and I am so excited! I will try new thing that my friends have recommended, but I will be using some old school items as well.
There are so many baby items and brands that sometimes it's very hard to choose. So, here you will find all of my recommendations (with links included) that I have used or seen my friends use. I hope this can help and guide many future mommies when doing their registry.
Nursery
Crib: They are so many options when choosing a crib, I bought the cribs for the twins in Newport Cottages the quality is so good that 5 years latter I am still going to use it. Another brand that I have heard that is very good and great price is BabyLetto.
Crib mattress: I have been using the pebble pure from Nook for my three kids and still using it this time around, its amazing!
Changer: Same as the crib, bought mine from Newport Cottages and its been amazing, I love that is big and it fits everything.
Changing pad: I am still using the one that I bought when I had the twins from Nook, I really like it, but now that have a really good one that is made from rubber, so you don’t have to put cover on it and it is easy to clean. Here is the link to it.
Rocker or glider: I am obsessed with mine from Dutalier and I am going to use it again, I am going to change the fabric.
Decoration: This is where you can really have fun! This time around most of my decoration I am getting at Restoration Hardware.
Diaper caddie: There are many good options when it comes to organizing you changing table, some good ones are the organizers from Pottery Barn, Skip Hop, Ubbi, etc.
Diaper pail with bags: Dekor plus and Ubbi are the ones I like.
Air freshener: The best is Baby Cotton.
Hangers: you can find many but I love the velvet mini hangers.
Laundry hamper: You can find many in Pottery Barn but this time I am using baskets from a brand called Petit Pehr.
Bedding
Bumper: This is a big controversy now a days, but I am super old school with this subject and I use a bumper. I am getting it from Restoration Hardware.
Crib sheets: I love Baby Noomie, Pottery Barn Kids, etc.
Crib Skirt: there are many options, this time I got it from Restoration Hardware.
Changing pad covers: I always buy mine at Nini and Loli, since I have the changing pad that all of my kids used, but now a days they are using a really cool one that is a plastic mat so you don’t need covers.
Swaddles: The best are Aden Anais, love their bamboo fabric.
Blankets: There are so many options but one of my favorites are Little Giraffe and Baby Noomie.
Feeding New born
Bottles: I have used Avent Natural with my three boys and plan to use the same. But I recommend not to buy to many bottles until you figure out which one suits your baby better. You have to test them to see.
Pacifiers with pod: I use pacifiers a lot. This is the way I kept my kids on schedule and I sleep trained them. I have always used Suavinex but you can only but them in Europe (my sister gets mine from Israel). I also recommend testing a few before purchasing many.
Sterilizer: Avent
Dry rack: Lawn
Bottle sponge: Any sponge that can go completely inside the bottle is good, I love OXXO cleaning set for bottles.
Bottle cleaner: Babyganics
Burp cloths: Eden Anais and Kissy Kissy are my favorites.
Feeding (4months and up)
Feeding chair: l have had the Peg Perego Siesta since the twins and I love it.
Dishes, spoons, cups, snack dispensers: I love Boon baby feeding products, I also love the Ikea line and this time I also got some from Chewbeads.
Frist spoons: The fist spoons I love to use are from Green Sprout, they are really small and soft. Then I really like the Baeba brand spoons.
Bath
Bath tub with stand: I have tried a few, and the one that I liked the most is the Dream Dream on Me bath with stand.
Towels: Little Giraffe are the best
Shampoo and soap: Mustela
Sponge: Nilo Natural sponge
Grooming kit (brush, nail file, nail clippers): Green Sprout
Baby oils: Mustela
Baby moisturizer: Mustela
Baby cotton swabs
Nose Frida and saline solution
Diapers
Diaper rash cream: For regular use I like Desitine or Aquaphor and for a bad diaper rash I love Triple Paste.
Gear
Baby stroller with basinet (sheets): for me it was very important to have a stroller with basinet so the baby could sleep good anywhere we went. There are many good options no a days, but the two that I am more familiar with are any of the Bugaboo strollers (I have the Donkey because it is for twins). Another one I like a lot is Mamas and Papas Urbo 2. Don't forget that you will need sheets for the basinet.
Lightweight Stroller: the most practical stroller I have seen is the Yo-Yo.
Stroller hooks and caddies: Skip Hop and Think King.
Diaper bag with changing pad: My favorites are from 7AM.
Baby monitor: The only one I have ever tried and really l like is the Motorola that has a monitor and also works on the phone or tablet.
Dockatot: I am going to try the Dockatot for the first time but I have heard many good thing about it.
Play Time
Swing: I have the 4Moms Mamaroo since I had the twins, but I feel there is better ones and less bulky. I have seen some good one from Fisher-Price, but I am not sure which one to get yet. I will let you know which one I decide later on.
Bouncer: Baby Einstein and Fisher-Price are my favorite brands for this.
Play mat: Skip Hop, Tiny Love and Fisher-Price.
Play yard with basinet: I have never owned one but I have had some loaned and this time I am getting the Guava Family Lotus crib because it has an amazing basinet adaptor that I can use next to my bed in the beginning. Afterwards I'll continue to use as it's very small and easy to travel with.
Stroller toys: Tiny Love, Fisher-Price.
Nursing
Nursing pillow: I am very old school with this and I love the original Boppy Pillow.
Nursing cover: Baby Au Lait has an amazing muslin fabric cover that I love because the fabric is more breathable and lighter.
Brest pump with accessories (bottles and storage bags): I own and love the Medela Pump in Style Advance. I am sure there are newer ones but this one really works for me. I also really like their accessories, like their storage bags and bottles.
Breast Gel pads: The only thing I feel that really helps the nipple pain are the Lansinoh Lanolin Gel Pads.
