HOW TO BOOST YOUR FERTILITY WITH FOOD FROM THE HEART ❤
A few weeks ago I had the honor to organize a cooking demo with one of my favorite people I follow on Instagram. Lauren is the founder of Food from the Heart, Self-taught Cook, Health Coach & Author of the book Pregnancy from the Heart. She is also an amazing and creative mom that is teaching me and all of her followers to eat and live in a healthier way. Lauren has an amazing book that goes from fertility to breastfeeding and it teaches you how to be the best version of yourself through food from the heart! (lots of valuable info that any health conscious person will totally love).

As you may have guessed, your fertility can be affected if you are not giving your body the right nutrients and vitamins. It's the reason why we decided to partner up for a cooking demo to boost your fertility the natural way, through food!
In the cooking demo Lauren explained about the importance of the quality of ingredients, how to focus on eating simple but good foods in their least processed state. She discussed about the fertility vitamins and nutrients and the importance of healthy fats such as DHA and Omega 3 for the absorption of these.

My favorite was the first course, a Roasted Carrot and Butternut squash soup loaded with antioxidants, vitamin A and Omega 3 fatty acids. A total fertility booster!
The procedure was simple, we rubbed some carrots, butternut squash, onions and garlic cloves with coconut oil and pink salt. Then we roast them at 425 F until tender and blended it with some stock! Some of us added a hint of organic, imported feta cheese. Lauren mentioned the importance of not depriving ourselves of what we want, but finding better options…or better portion sizes!
It was a great night filled with great and valuable information. We had so much fun, we also sipped on some red wine…good pairing for a night after lots of fertility booster bites ;)
