A GLAMOROUS THANKSGIVING WEEKEND
One of my childhood friends got married last Saturday in the Dominican Republic, and because it was Thanksgiving weekend, my husband and I decided to take a "real" vacation. So we left the kids in Miami, with their grandparents, and went away to Cap Cana with lots of friends.
It's never easy leaving the kids, but I find it to be a great way to relax and reconnect with myself and my partner. This time it was also a great way to have lots of fun with all of my friends, the ones that live near me in Miami, and the ones that live far away in Caracas.
In our tradition we are accustomed to having many events before a wedding, and this was no different.
For this blog post I thought it would be fun to show you my outfits, as well as my friends'. We are all moms and have crazy lives, but this weekend we all took time for ourselves, to relax and to look amazing.

It all started Thursday night, when a catamaran took us to an incredible house that hosted the Cocktail Party. The dress code was tropical white.

The next day we took the same catamaran and headed to the Beach Party, which took place in a beautiful bar at a nearby beach. We were there having fun 'til dawn.

Saturday at night we had the main event, the wedding. The decoration was unbelievable so glamorous, I felt I was in the movie The Great Gatsby, we really had an amazing time.
